Job Title: Senior Brand Director, TAZO

Job Status: full-time, permanent

Work location: Hoboken, NJ; hybrid

Your role

The Senior Brand Director is a strategic leader, with a general management mindset, who will drive brand growth, innovation, and market differentiation within this fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role requires a forward-thinking individual capable of balancing an understanding of the full P&L, creative vision and data-driven decision-making to establish and expand the brand’s presence in competitive markets. As a key member of the leadership team, the Senior Brand Director will directly influence the company’s trajectory by fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives and market opportunities.
  • Balance both short-term and long-term priorities to achieve designated business and brand KPIs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to launch innovative products that resonate with consumers and stand out in a crowded marketplace.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including external agencies, partners, and influencers, to amplify brand strategies.
  • Oversee the brand’s digital presence, ensuring cohesive and compelling narratives across all channels, including social media, e-commerce, and traditional media.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes to identify new growth opportunities and refine brand positioning.
  • Champion a test-and-learn approach to marketing, leveraging data and analytics to optimize campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional team members including sales, shopper, and ecommerce to ensure flawless in market execution of the brand.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creative thinking and problem-solving.

Stakeholder Management and key interfaces

  • Must collaborate with sales organization to develop effective go to market strategies
  • Ongoing partnership with finance and supply chain to consistently improve the brand’s P&L
  • Ability to manage multiple agency partners to generate comprehensive creative, media, shopper and beyond plans.

Skills and experience:

  • 10+ years of experience. Degree preferred
  • Proven experience in a senior brand leadership role within the CPG industry, with a track record of successful brand growth, P&L ownership and product launches.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate high-level vision into actionable plans and initiatives and demonstrated success in understanding all levers of the business.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including social media, content strategy, and e-commerce.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • A passion for innovation and a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics within the CPG industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a startup or fast-paced environment, with a high degree of adaptability and willingness to take risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
