The primary responsibility of the Marketing Manager is to implement the annual marketing and communications plan to support the business objectives for the hotel and F&B outlets.
The ultimate goal is to generate market presence, develop awareness, strengthen loyalty, increase market share and most importantly, produce increased revenues and profitability. This colleague will promote awareness and maintain a consistent brand image of the property and outlets. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Marketing Manager will set and guide the strategy for all communications, public relations, social media, and collateral. This individual serves as the communications partner on a variety of strategic initiatives, including Rooms, Events and Outlets.
- Implement and evaluate the annual marketing and communications plan across the company’s audiences in collaboration with Hyatt corporate and the property’s team
- Create online content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action.
- Decide who, where, and when to disseminate on multiple websites, social media platforms, online partners
- Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, e-newsletters, brochures, advertising and promotional messaging
- Liaison with the PR agency to provide information and direction on media placement goals in targeted media outlets
- Webpage maintenance in conjunction with Hyatt Corporate Marketing to ensure that new and consistent information is posted regularly, all information is updated, and images are refreshed
- Manage social media strategy, messaging, voice and ideation for hotel and outlet accounts, track and measure the level of engagement within the network over time
- Evaluate promotional and programming opportunities presented to hotel
- Develop promotions and partnerships to meet the hotels marketing and revenue objectives
- Accountable for weekly and monthly reporting efforts
- Responsible for scheduling and overseeing all photo shoots and video shoots for the hotel
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-years hotel, travel, tourism or lifestyle brands experience required.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and the strategic planning process and experience in managing agency partnerships, media relations and brand management required.
- Experience Working With Luxury Brands Or Resorts Is Preferred.
- Understanding of the local market and comp set is preferred.
- Outstanding guest services skills, sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time without direct supervision is essential.
