As a Channel Marketing Manager, you will lead on executing marketing campaigns through email, direct mail, and SMS to help grow our impact to millions of users. Through careful development, testing, and QA, your efforts will help us reach people across the country and engage diverse audiences.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Channel Marketing, you will also be a part of shaping our segmentation and personalization strategy, to make sure that we are maximizing the impact of every touchpoint on every member we can reach. You’ll be part of a high-powered growth team that is working to scale our growth by 10x or more.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of email, direct mail, and SMS campaigns to millions of potential members, using data to drive decisions and identify opportunities for greater impact.
  • Utilize tools like Salesforce, Braze, and Asana to design, execute, and optimize personalized multi-channel campaigns, ensuring each campaign is coordinated in detail to exceed member and customer expectations.
  • Develop user journeys from end-to-end that amplify end user experiences to drive iteration and improvement on our marketing strategy
  • Manage how we segment and QA audience files, developing new processes and deep diving as issues emerge.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns. Facilitate open communication and alignment to achieve shared objectives, such as securing marketing access and enhancing member engagement.”

Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:

  • Master Virta’s multi-channel marketing strategy and technology stack
  • Lead the execution of at least one comprehensive campaign across email, SMS, and direct mail channels, with a focus on driving measurable growth.
  • Get familiar with tools like Salesforce, Braze, Asana, and look for process opportunities to improve each of these tools.
  • Build strong relationships with the business development team and gain a deep understanding of Virta members’ needs, translating this knowledge into effective marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to our A/B testing strategy and ideation for email and direct mail.
  • Work closely with our growth team to plan for upcoming launches and on how to serve our expanding client base

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years channel marketing experience, ideally in healthcare / healthtech or in a regulated industry
  • Comfort executing marketing campaigns like email, direct mail, and SMS to drive growth at a fast-growing startup
  • A track record of design data-driven channel marketing experience, running A/B tests, and leveraging data thoughtfully to drive and improve performance
  • Experience with marketing automation and modern martech stacks to be able to execute and QA with a high degree of operational excellence
  • Grit and initiative – ready to hop in as needed to solve problems, address emerging issues, and make the team successful
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships across domains to get things done
