Sprouts Farmers Market
The Shopper Marketing Senior Specialist will play a key role in the planning, development and project management for all Shopper Marketing efforts at Sprouts. The position will lead the efforts on Sprouts’ Shopper Marketing automation tool (portal), be accountable for campaign executional details as well as provide critical operational support that will ladder up to the overall financial health of the Sprouts business.
While this role will primarily own the project management elements of the Shopper Marketing activations, this individual will also lean in where possible to assist in continuing to build external vendor relationships as well as internal ones throughout the marketing and merchandising teams. This individual will also have the opportunity to hone their strategic skill sets (ex. assisting in yearly planning) bridging ideas to executions, all while maintaining a highly organized and detailed approach.
They will gain an understanding of the multi-faceted areas in Sales & Marketing that are required to support a leading, national grocery company. Overview Of Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, execution, and measurement of Shopper Marketing programs that seek to drive awareness, trial, and conversion for our vendors but drive traffic and grow baskets for Sprouts.
- Project management for all Shopper Marketing campaigns and a la carte initiatives from inception to reporting to billing.
- Develop key relationships and in some cases act as the liaison between Sprouts’ vendors, internal marketing team members and merchandise team members.
- Support in our efforts with marketing’s annual vendor planning process and key meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Development of Best-in-Class and breakthrough solutions, leveraging customer insights.
- Understand, maintain and communicate strict timelines while working with cross-functional teams.
- Assist in the management of agency partners.
- Own the process and functionality of our internal Shopper Marketing portal as well as our marketing team project management system (Asana).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or closely related field.
- 5+ years experience in a marketing related role either internally at a company or at an advertising agency, preferably direct experience with paid media.
- Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- A clear ability to connect the dots and proactively provide solutions and opportunities outside of the “usual”.
- Inquisitive mindset and a willingness to step beyond the comfort zone and establish (not just work within) best-in-class standards.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and a natural like of people.
- A proficiency and technical ability in using computer and software systems including MS Office Suite and project management software (Asana experience is a plus).
- History with working against clear KPIs and success metrics.
- Resourceful and self-motivated approach to work, with an interest in learning and growing.
