Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead and oversee our client’s Marketing department. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with the client’s business goals. The role requires an extensive marketing background, specifically in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and Wholesale environments, and experience managing a variety of promotional end-to-end projects including paid advertising campaigns, Google Adwords, Web Analytics, SEO, and digital marketing techniques. This executive leadership role involves managing multiple teams and collaborating with senior executives to drive demand and recognition for the company’s products.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create, manage, coordinate, and execute all marketing strategies and implement tactical plans that meet and exceed company expectations.
  • Manage Web Analytics, Google Adwords, and SEO.
  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase website awareness.
  • Lead and manage the Creative Director, Photo & Video, Digital Strategist, Web Publishing, Product Development Specialist, and Content Engagement teams.
  • Identify, interpret, and capitalize on marketing trends.
  • Analyze, evaluate, plan, and execute on both existing and potential marketing activities and strategies.
  • Develop benchmark criteria to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Coach, mentor, and raise the team’s ability to deliver and exceed expectations while creating opportunities for succession talent.
  • Work closely with Product Planning, Purchasing, Sales, Web Development, and other Senior Executives.
  • Track competitors’ activities.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

  • Proven work experience as a VP of Marketing, CMO or similar roles.
  • Proven work experience in D2C and Wholesale.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns with an online sales company.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and Google Adwords.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to make difficult decisions.

Education / Professional Experience

  • BS degree in Marketing or a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience as VP of Marketing, CMO or similar roles.
  • 15+ years of experience in D2C and wholesale.

Licenses / Certifications

  • Relevant marketing certifications are a plus but not required.

Additional Information

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Compensation

  • Base salary: $225,000 / year
  • Plus bonus pay based on performance

  • On-site: Garland, Texas
  • Future hybrid options available.
