Job Summary

Benjamin Moore is seeking a creative, talented and self-motivated professional to join our Marketing team as an Associate Manager, Social Media. This role is responsible for bringing our brand to life across several key social platforms by creating original social content that aligns with our key marketing objectives and building meaningful relationships with our customers. The Associate Manager, Social Media will play a key role in the day-to-day content creation, execution, and management of our social media strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and advocacy for our brand.


Responsibilities

  • Run several of the brand’s social channels, taking ownership of the process from end-to end
  • Manage social content planning, creative reviews, deliverables and publishing for those channels
  • Work with a cross-functional team of designers, copywriters and in-house experts to deliver impactful creative across your managed channels
  • Create social-first content for these platforms that aligns to the social media strategy to increase brand awareness, e-commerce sales and user engagement
  • Contribute and execute ideas for engaging video content targeted to our key audiences that can be utilized on our Instagram and TikTok channels to celebrate their work
  • Attend on-site events to capture content, film and edit video footage in a social-first format
  • Identify proactive engagement opportunities based on real-time trends to build engagement and fan growth
  • Collect user-generated content and testimonials from customers who are tagging the brand in their paint projects
  • Work with the team to compile comprehensive reports to share how the brand is tracking against our KPIs
  • Monitor social media reports and social listening to inform content optimization for your managed channels
  • Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends in the social media and home spaces; Identify emerging trends that are relevant to the brand
  • Assist the Social Media Manager with other projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar discipline preferred
  • 3+ years of social media experience for a consumer brand
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok
  • A multi-tasker who’s comfortable jumping quickly to and from projects as well as working in multiple social platforms throughout the day
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to develop meaningful relationships with internal team members as well as with customers through our social media communities
  • Has a finger on the pulse of trends and social conversation
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with outstanding attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, project management time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience related to home, design or paint a plus
