Simplistic is looking to contract an SEO Copywriter on a project-by-project basis. As an SEO Copywriter at Simplistic, you will work with both our internal teams and clients. This role will require out-of-the-box thinking to ideate creative concepts that will reach and convert the largest possible audiences and ultimately drive revenue for the organization.

We are an eCommerce design, development, and optimization agency for D2C brands on the Shopify/Shopify Plus platform.

Base salary range of $50,000 – $70,000.
As an SEO Copywriter, this role could include:
- Develop SEO-driven content for a variety of platforms such as websites, client portals, email campaigns, and more
- Utilize strong SEO practices to increase organic search visibility and traffic. Implement strategies involving keywords, meta tags, and SEO-centric writing techniques
- Convey brand narrative through each piece of content, aligning with the ethos of innovation in e-commerce
- Work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency. Embrace feedback to refine and optimize content
- Stay updated with the latest in e-commerce, Shopify developments, and SEO trends to keep content relevant and impactful
- Rigorous editing to maintain high-quality content standards
- Ensure tone and language is appropriate for brand personality
Required Competencies
- Portfolio of writing examples
- Demonstrable experience in SEO and content marketing, preferably in e-commerce or a related field
- 2+ years of copywriting experience in the digital space
- Expertise in copywriting, content design, and content architecture across channels
- Ability to perform comprehensive web-based research to stay ahead of industry trends
- Ability to craft content that engages and converts, with a keen eye for detail and a creative approach to challenges
- Superior understanding and application of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax
- Very strong attention to detail and organization skills
