Position Overview

The Client Marketing Specialist supports the Americas region business development activities, events, and mass marketing activities. Assists in promoting thought leadership content, supporting client events & meetings, aiding in the preparation of client & broker meeting materials, and contributing to marketing programs (e.g., promotional mailings, advertising campaigns, cross-selling efforts, etc.). The Client Marketing Specialist provides updates to all requisite teams and stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • In support of the RGA Americas business and marketing strategy, aids in the production and implementation of marketing programs, including the development of marketing materials, sell sheets, newsletters, research bulletins, event execution, materials and communications, etc.
  • Assists with the execution of RGA events and industry conference programs with direction from division leadership and/or event business lead. Responsibilities include design and delivery of meeting materials, signage, and promotional items; assisting RGA speakers with presentation needs; and other duties as needed or assigned.
  • Coordinates general marketing efforts for the local office, including but not limited to maintaining online marketing asset library, designing promotional client giveaway items, and assisting with internal events.
  • Assists in the preparation of customized presentations and marketing materials for clients, broker and prospect meetings and formatting/drafting indicative proposals as necessary. Coordinates the development and creation of client and broker meeting preparation materials.
  • Assists with the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of information on the divisional SharePoint site to serve as a referenceable resource.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 2 years of experience business development, marketing, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Intermediate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Familiarity working in marketing automation, event management, and like platforms
  • Ability to be flexible when needed, take initiative, and demonstrate accountability
  • Intermediate oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge
  • Ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously; Ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Intermediate investigative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in department projects
  • Ability to balance detail with departmental goals/objectives
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines and work well with all levels of management

Preferred

  • Progress towards Master’s Degree, MBA
  • Progress toward FLMI, ALHC, or other relevant professional accreditation
  • Basic SharePoint and CRM skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
  • General understanding of reinsurance

Compensation Range

  • $54,435.00 – $77,755.00
