ABB E-mobility is transforming into a customer-centric, solution-led sustainable mobility company, looking for motivated and passionate individuals to join our team. The newly created ABB E-mobility marketing and communications organization will drive this experience through brand purpose: We support our customers to electrify mobility. As the Product Marketing Segments lead at ABB E-mobility, you will play a pivotal role in driving success by strategically positioning and promoting our solutions in our largest market and in our key segments. You will be the commercial lead for the Product Marketing team, liaising with the product managers in NA and own the success of our latest Go-to-Market program. The ideal candidate will reside in Eastern Time Zone (preference for Charlotte, NC ) and demonstrate an eagerness to collaborate with teammebers in Delft, Netherlands and Valdarno, Italy as ABB E-mobility builds out centers of excellence.

Target US Salary Range is: $170,000-190,000 annual + Bonus

In This Role Your Main Accountabilities Will Be

  • Commercial Responsibility: Collaborate with sales and business teams to build solution focused commercial offerings
  • Capture Strategy: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and emerging customer needs targeting high-value prospects and driving long-term business development strategies.
  • NA Product Marketing Orchestrator: Own the market specifications of our key segments and sub-segments, supporting product management functions to build the right product
  • Customer Evangelism: Disseminate and evangelize our customer insights across the company, ensuring all teams are aligned with our customer-centric approach.
  • Strategic Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling messaging and segment solution-level narratives that align with our company positioning across our customer segments
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new charging solution launches and features, including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and sales enablement.
  • Content Strategy: Inform the content roadmap with charger customer insights. Collaborate with our internal Integrated Marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across channels and to develop content for events.

To make the above work, we need a senior professional who is capable of synthesizing quantative data analytics and captivating storytelling to diverse audiences.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing Engineering, or a related discipline). A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 8-12 years of proven experience in product marketing/product management preferably B2B/B2C in a tech/platform capacity
  • Demonstrated success of growth mindset as we evolve and mature to solutions-based company.
  • Strong understanding of product marketing principles, strategies, and tactics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging
  • Demonstrated experience in developing impactful marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, and web content based on previous product launches
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams such as product management, sales, client success, and engineering
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and driving positive environmental impact; Experience with technology or the automotive industry is strongly preferred.
