The Job
The Manager of Marketing Activation is responsible for implementing the brand strategy and executing marketing activations throughout the property. This role will report to the Director of Marketing Activation and work closely with the marketing Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
The Day-to-day
- Project manage both planned and ad-hoc marketing campaigns on-property, overseeing day-to-day campaign development while collaborating closely with marketing COEs and property teams
- Partner with central marketing teams to create and deliver the necessary creative materials for on-property activations, ensuring all assets are provided according to the brief and undergo thorough quality checks
- Work alongside the Entertainment and Events teams to manage on-property activations, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy
- Prepare key materials for the Director in advance of meetings with property vertical leaders and Corporate
- Conduct weekly audits of website and third-party content, compiling necessary updates from key stakeholders and ensuring all content is 100% accurate and up to date
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s Degree Preferred
- Five (5) years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, Events, Media, or related field within Hospitality and Gaming
- Proven track record in developing and delivering complex programs and projects with positive, measurable results
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to multi‐task large‐scale marketing initiatives
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write a marketing plan that communicates high‐level strategy and actionable tactics
- Must possess effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
- Ability to maintain a professional image and enthusiastic attitude at all times
- Microsoft Suite (Work, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
The Ideal Candidate
- One (1) year of previous guest services experience in the slot department of a similar resort setting
- Proficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
