Sandbox Solar
As an experienced Marketing Manager, you may feel like it’s time to try an industry that’s fresh, innovative, green, and potentially unexplored in your profession. We’re Sandbox Solar. You should already know who we are, given your profession. With the right alignment in terms of our culture, you could be the one to help be sure that everyone knows about Sandbox. And by everyone, we pretty much mean everyone. That may not be that hard to do. In the last year alone, we’ve been named:
- A Top Solar Contractor by Solar Power World
- The Reader’s Choice Best of NoCO Winner by NoCO Style
- A Mercury 100 Winner by BizWest (placing 5th place in Northern Colorado’s Fastest Growing Private Company competition)
- The Neighborhood Fave by nextdoor
- A Denver Business Journal Small Business Award Finalist
- A Summit Award winner from the International Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM) for leading the way in the solar industry for energy efficiency and rebates (while one of our team members was named SuperStar Project Manager of the Year at the IECRM).
When you throw in that our Founder and CEO, Ian Skor, also won a Top 30 Under 30 just a few years ago, and just won a 40 under 40 award, you realize just how amazing our story is. We’ve only been around since 2015! You can find out more at sandboxsolar.com. Three years ago, our founder and CEO, Ian Skor, had a goal of being known as the best solar company in Colorado within three years. We did it.
Our future is even more exciting. We’re leading the way in multiple community and commercial projects, including Solar Microgrids, Group Buying Solar Co-Ops, Agrivoltaic innovations, and of course, residential. That’s what makes a Marketing career with Sandbox a lot more challenging than a job at a more conventional solar company doing only residential roof installs. With a mission to “Increase the deployment of solar energy in our community to promote energy independence and self-sufficiency,” we’re growing in terms of employee base, number, complexity, scope and size of projects, external recognition, and a lot of other things that mark a high-performing team. It’s a lot to keep up with! Ian’s five year goal was to be known as the best solar company in the nation. That’s where you could come in.
