We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join our Danis Marketing team. Ideal candidates are creative self-starters with a passion for writing and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The candidate should also be organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. You’ll support marketing and business development initiatives, working closely with teams across departments. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Maintain and execute marketing strategies aligned with the Danis brand identity.
Content Creation
- Design and develop brochures, proposals, and presentations to enhance project understanding.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Preconstruction, and Design teams to create compelling, multimedia-rich content.
- Prepare industry-specific materials (writing and graphics), particularly for key sectors like healthcare.
Collaboration & Branding
- Ensure alignment of all marketing materials with brand standards and project goals.
- Coordinate and manage branding for project site signage, photography, video, scripting, events, press releases, and other initiatives.
Community & Social Media Engagement
- Support Constructing Hope initiatives by recruiting and engaging employees for volunteer programs.
- Collect and assist with photography and content creation for Danis’ social media channels.
- Assist with regional social media content planning and execution.
Event Participation & Ad Hoc Marketing
- Represent Danis positively at internal and external events.
- Collaborate on regional marketing efforts that align with strategic goals.
- Provide support for ad hoc marketing requests and initiatives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- BS/BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Architecture, or related field.
- 1-3 years of marketing, communications, or sales support experience, preferably in an AEC firm.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe InDesign.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and presentation tools.
Soft Skills
- Strong writing skills with the ability to transform technical details into engaging narratives.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a focus on building interdepartmental relationships.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Spends much of their time in an office environment, either at their desk or meeting with management, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, or suppliers. Travels, as needed, locally by automobile or travel by airplane as needed. Spends some time around the construction site where weather and conditions can reach extremes.
