The Creative Copywriter is responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading, marketing, sales, and promotional materials in support of marketing initiatives for Enterprise’s in-house Creative team. This role writes creative copy for multiple brands and lines of business across B2B and B2C audiences across a range of marketing and media channels. In this role, the copywriter leverages insights and strong conceptual skills to produce relevant messages and marketing assets focused on outcomes. The copywriter also partners with various Marketing teams to ensure a consistent tone of voice across channels. The role collaborates directly with designers on copy application in layout.

  • Guide the development of creative copy and ensure consistency across all channels
  • Write highly engaging copy for multiple brands that align with each brand’s unique tone of voice
  • Support messaging initiatives for multiple lines of business in partnership with Marketing leads
  • Partner with internal teams Marketing, Digital, Communications, etc. to assess projects needs and guide messaging development
  • Present copy concepts and strategic thinking in creative reviews for Marketing leadership
  • Serve as a confident and creative thought leader across the team and department
  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with key internal clients
  • Manage multiple deadlines and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Stay on top of industry best practices and new mediums of communication and apply them to projects managed by the team
  • Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality

Minimum

  • Two (2+) or more years of writing compelling copy for a wide variety of mediums, including for high-profile brands
  • Experience from concepting to copy execution for major national brand
  • Demonstrated experience writing for B2B and Retail audiences
  • A portfolio demonstrating effective and engaging copywriting
  • Bachelor’s Degree (English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications preferred)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
