Description:

As the Digital Marketing Manager at BackBox, you will be responsible for managing, executing, and cultivating continuous improvement within the digital marketing systems, strategies, and programs that drive growth, nurture customers, and establish the company as a thought leader in the Network Cyber Resilience space. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing and Operations, you will lead our digital marketing efforts, leveraging HubSpot’s automation platform, Salesforce CRM, WordPress CMS, Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Advertising, and SEMrush to deliver high-impact campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HubSpot Automation Platform Management: Develop and optimize Backbox’s HubSpot instance to process and enhance Leads while engaging the prospective customers in digital marketing throughout their buyer journey.
  • Organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO):Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve website visibility, drive organic traffic, increase keyword rankings, and improve conversion rates.
  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Advertising: Create and execute SEM campaigns on Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other platforms, leveraging data insights from tools like SEMrush to optimize ad performance.
  • Email Nurturing: Develop, implement, and maintain full lifecycle email marketing programs that nurture leads and foster interest, driving conversions that demonstrate increasing engagement and awareness around BackBox solutions.
  • Content Merchandising and Distribution: Collaborate with Product Marketing and Customer Success to drive enhancements in engaging content that resonates with our target audience and customer base across all marketing channels.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Regularly analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot, and SEMrush to track key metrics and drive continuous improvement across all digital channels.
  • Enablement and Campaign Support: Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Development to drive improvements around inbound and outbound prospecting, integrating marketing programs and events to drive engagement and conversions

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least four years of experience in Digital Marketing and/or Marketing Operations, preferably in a B2B software organization
  • Experience and proven expertise in HubSpot’s automation platform, Google Ads, LinkedIn Advertising, and SEMrush
  • Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and paid advertising best practices
  • Excellent email marketing skills, with experience nurturing leads through key stages of the buyer lifecycle and building brand awareness
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies and programs that drive growth and customer retention
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making
  • General experience and working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, WordPress CMS, and Google Analytics
