The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The person hired for the Global Marketing Manager position will be responsible for managing and growing the portfolio, overseeing the global P&L, developing marketing strategies, executing new product introductions (NPI), and managing pricing for the Industrial Minerals portfolio.

  • Implementing the Marketing Communications strategy
  • Leading the content and collateral strategy with support from content specialists.
  • Leading and implementing the marketing deliverables of New Product Introductions(NPI).
  • Leading the product launch phase and driving NPI sales to achieve financial targets
  • Leading the execution of portfolio excellence, simplification, PIPO and maintenance through product hierarchy, GMCE and other system tools.
  • Developing the marketing budget and tracking annual spend.
  • Execute price strategies that align with the business goals.
  • Managing our Adjacent Minerals and international granule business.
  • Customer engagement to drive sales, NPI programs and customer relationships.

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) combined years of experience in sales, channel, marketing, and/or business development in a private, public, government, or military environment

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with global teams and across functions, geographies and time zones
  • Customer focused thinking and proven success gathering market and customer insights
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to think strategically and to navigate complex situations
  • Clear demonstration of innovation, a passion to win and willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively communicate with global team
  • Experience in residential roofing or construction
  • Experience with Sales Force, Vendavo, and other systems

Work location: Hybrid to Maplewood, MN 3 days a week

Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international
