Austin Surf Club is seeking a Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Department.

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing Manager to work with the Director of Marketing and the DLC Corporate Marketing Team as an on-the-ground marketing partners on the development and execution of marketing strategies across our portfolio of luxury real estate and lifestyle offerings. This role requires a highly organized, well-developed cross-departmental project management, brand-savvy marketer with a sharp eye for design, strong writing skills, and experience developing premium collateral and events that reflect an elevated brand identity. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a deep understanding of the luxury consumer mindset. Candidates must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, balance a variety of roles within the organization, and be able to establish and foster effective working relationships with internal teams, prospects, and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Management
  • Provide brand and marketing expertise within DLC and property initiatives such as collateral development, communications and overall presentation.
  • Uphold and evolve the visual and verbal identity of the brand across all touchpoints.
  • Ensure consistent storytelling that aligns with the values and tone of a luxury real estate brand.
  • Work with external agencies, creatives, and internal teams to ensure cohesive brand execution.
  • Market research, insights, and input into strategic planning.
  • Collateral Development & Creative Oversight
  • Develop and oversee all marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, signage, and digital content.
  • Lead creative production from concept through execution, maintaining a high design and editorial standard.
  • Coordinate photography and videography for the property
  • Manage print and digital asset libraries and update regularly to reflect current offerings.
  • Content & Copywriting
  • Write and edit content for websites, newsletters, campaigns, property descriptions, and investor-facing materials.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce compelling and informative content tailored to high-net-worth buyers and partners.
  • Ensure tone and messaging are aligned with brand values and audience expectations.
  • Event Planning & Execution
  • Help plan, coordinate, and manage branded events including member events on and off property, prospecting events across the world, charity events and lifestyle activations.
  • Work with vendors, venues, and partners to deliver elevated experiences that reinforce the brand’s positioning.
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and post-event follow-ups and recaps.
  • Digital Marketing & Campaign Support
  • Support digital strategy and execution across web, email, and social platforms in collaboration with internal and external digital teams.
  • Track and report on campaign performance and engagement metrics.
  • General Administration:
  • General marketing administration tasks and budget management.
  • Additional marketing duties as needed

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business, marketing, communications, journalism or related preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in marketing, representing high-end luxury properties, hospitality, surf lifestyle or relevant industry.
  • Experience partnering and/or working with a Sales teams a plus.
  • Knowledge of construction, architecture and design a plus.
  • Strong project management skills; highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience planning and executing luxury events.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) as well as Apple products and services.
  • Experience with digital platforms (i.e. Canva, email systems, CRM) and ability to learn new programs quickly.
  • Track record of producing and presentation of marketing assets in a fast-paced and agile environment.

  • Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
