Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: University Marketing Manager in the Office of University Marketing and Communication.

The University Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing marketing projects to ensure successful delivery. This includes creating, receiving, assigning, and tracking project requests. This role is responsible for collaborating with campus partners, the marketing team, designers, and other stakeholders to define project objectives, monitor project timelines, facilitate brainstorming, ensure appropriate approvals, and maintain high-quality standards for consistency in all marketing deliverables. The University Marketing Manager is also responsible for managing bids and coordinating with external vendors, prioritizing requests, and maintaining efficiencies.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Work experience in project management, marketing, communication, or a related field.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, materials, and initiatives by coordinating collaboration, overseeing project activity management, processes and workflow.
  • Serve as principal client service liaison to receive and assign project requests submitted by departments and divisions, while ensuring effective communication among teams.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for all deliverables, ensuring they align with brand guidelines, divisional and university objectives, and that they meet project objectives as established by the requester.
  • Manage procurement for university printed material and/or services needed to ensure successful project completion.

Public Information Director I (BC30/61122515/FTE-S01061P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 06. Salary Range: $47,588.00 (minimum) – $67,817.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May be required to work occasional nights and weekends and could require limited travel. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.

Adept use of project planning software to manage marketing initiatives. Strong project management methodologies and exceptional communication for effective stakeholder engagement across university departments. Employee must have the ability to perform within tight deadlines and budgets; excellent planning and organizational skills; and ability to communicate proactively and effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues. Basic knowledge of project management systems is a plus.
