The Alpha Marketing Manager is responsible for brand awareness, product marketing and customer engagement by developing go-to-market strategies for solution offerings. The Alpha Marketing Manager will develop and implement a range of marketing initiatives, marketing campaigns, product launches, sales enablement tools, social media and brand awareness.
This position is also responsible for the development and coordination of internal and external meetings plus the coordination of and participation in tradeshows and conferences. The Marketing Manager will be tasked with development of marketing materials for product launches like sell sheets and instruction guides, and sales enablement material, like presentations, graphics, videos, and print and digital advertisements.
Qualifications
- Develop go-to-market strategies for Checkpoint’s Alpha High Theft Systems line of business
- Lead and mentor direct report(s) by establishing individual KPIs, providing strategy, and guidance to support successful campaigns, launches, and growth.
- Work closely with product management, executive team, sales and global marketing to develop and execute Alpha brand marketing strategies and product launches that will increase awareness, sales, and customer engagement.
- Direct the development and execution of marketing materials for product launches, contributing materials including naming conventions, sell sheets, spec sheets, training guides, brochures, white papers, photography, videos, ads, social media, blogs, campaigns, and website listings.
- Manage outside vendors and suppliers focusing on cost effective, timely and efficient outputs such as tradeshow vendor, website vendor, magazine vendor and creative agencies.
- Monitor production of marketing materials, both internal and external, assuring that our brand message in consistent throughout all campaigns.
- Create, align and provide sales enablement tools that support Checkpoint’s selling efforts of solution offerings including presentations, one pagers, infographics, videos and custom graphics.
- Craft press, ads, and media releases on new products and industry updates, managing the distribution through various outlets. Liaison with public relations and media contacts, conveying Checkpoint’s brand, solutions and mission throughout North America.
- Plan, coordinate and execute multiple large scale tradeshow displays yearly, conference attendance, sales kickoff event with entire US Sales Team, and internal meetings.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including direct and digital communication avenues.
- Track and assemble data to measure effectiveness of marketing initiatives, utilizing a marketing database and CRM system.
- Develop and implement strategies for social media platforms, creating a brand message that clearing embraces Checkpoint’s vision and resonates with the target audience.
- Update and maintain company website and social media platforms.
- Conduct market research regarding product positioning, competition and targeted in conjunction with sales and product management.
- Monitor and assess competitive activities, market trends and customer feedback, gaining trust as the market expert.
- Manage the display of merchandise in Customer Experience Centers in Thorofare, NJ and Canton, Ohio to ensure consistent brand execution.
- Manage CEC visits by retailers with sales team, executive team, R&D, and product management, and coordinate visit details like agenda, snacks, lunches, custom graphics, products to display in CEC.
- Work with client success team to develop materials for the AMP Program for various retailers, including material such as training guides, posters, bin labels, etc.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent
Experience
- 3-5 years of product marketing and B2B experience
- Developing messaging and writing content
- Project management experience
- Budget management experience
- Working knowledge of marketing tools and techniques, including digital marketing
- Proficient in MS Office products and relevant graphics and video applications
- Experience with Adobe Suite ie Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, Illustrator is a must

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 annual salary
