Job Description

The Social Media Strategist and Manager will manage the official Warrington College of Business social media accounts, serving as the primary voice and editor for all social media communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and execute social media content in collaboration with editorial and department staff.

  • Lead integration of social solutions across websites, digital experiences, and marketing initiatives.

  • Mentor staff, students, and faculty contributing to social media, ensuring alignment with branding and strategic expectations.

  • Manage OPS students supporting projects and initiatives.

  • Develop and implement campaigns, storytelling initiatives, and social media strategies.

  • Collaborate with Marcom leadership to create content that drives brand awareness, student and alumni engagement, and peer influence.

  • Oversee strategic initiatives that strengthen the college’s reputation across social platforms.

  • Create and enforce social media guidelines and policies for consistency across channels.

  • Analyze and report on social media performance related to reputation, enrollment, student life, alumni relations, and more.

Expected Salary – $70,000.00 annually

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area with two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a social media strategist or leader.

  • Experience with marketing, technology, reporting, and team leadership.
