Compensation:$100,000 to $200,000 Annually + Benefits

Overview:

The client is looking for a visionary, strategy forward Sr. Paid Search manager with 5 – 10 years of experience in paid search (Google and Bing) to join their growing team to help manage a team of paid search campaign managers, perform audits, craft and implement paid search strategies, as well as to be tactical on the day-to-day campaign management.

An ideal candidate would be someone who has led teams in the past in an entrepreneurial environment; someone with recent experience in being successful in a competitive market. Ability to both lead and implement. Must be someone who is looking under the hood every single day, finding vulnerabilities and opportunities.

The client is an industry-leading nationwide eCommerce business selling heating and air conditioning equipment to homeowners and businesses. Fast-growing, they are deeply rooted in search engine marketing to grow their market share within current categories and to expand into new markets.

Their 1,000 day plan calls for rapid growth and the need to dominate their markets. Privately held, the role will be results-driven based on profitable returns from search engine advertising.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive paid search strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other teams to align paid search with overall marketing initiatives.

Campaign Execution:

  • Create and manage paid search campaigns (paid search, shopping, remarketing) across various platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc. with a secondary focus on organic search, paid social, and other inbound and intent based web advertising).
  • Write compelling ad copy and create effective landing pages to maximize campaign performance.
  • Implement A/B testing to optimize ad creatives, copy, and landing pages.

Budget Management:

  • Set and manage paid search budgets to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Monitor and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly budgets based on performance and goals.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Regularly analyze campaign performance data using various analytics tools.
  • Generate and present detailed reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend optimization strategies.

Optimization and Testing:

  • Continuously optimize campaigns for better performance and efficiency.
  • Implement and oversee testing methodologies to improve campaign outcomes.

Stay Informed on Industry Trends:

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, algorithm changes, and new tools to ensure the competitiveness of paid search campaigns.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, design, and development, to ensure alignment and integration of paid search efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and insights on paid search performance.

Qualifications:

  • 5 – 10 years experience in paid search (Google and Bing Ads as well as Facebook/Meta Ads)
  • Experience managing $1 – 2MM in ad spend/month
  • Experience with nationwide ecommerce paid search campaigns
  • Direct sales, not leads
  • Deep experience with attribution models, ROAS models, profit analysis etc.
  • Experience with multi-channel/multi-touch strategies
  • Experience with MOZ, SEMRush, and other search data tools
  • G4 experience and comprehension
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Proficient in using analytics and bid management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Google Ads and Bing Ads certifications are a plus
