POSITION TITLE: Marketing Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Marketing Director

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator typically reports to the Marketing Director and supports the pursuit process through creation of graphic and written content, maintaining databases of marketing information and templates, and creating proposals, qualifications and presentations that best represent Carroll Daniel Construction to the marketplace. The marketing coordinator supports corporate communications and marketing department initiatives, including managing inventory and database updates.

Position Responsibilities

Assists with Proposal Development & Pursuit Strategy

  • Creates qualification, proposal, and presentation collateral for firm
  • Writes and maintains proposal resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, etc.
  • Works with technical staff to develop proposal sections and scopes of work
  • Researches target markets as needed
  • Updates Marketing Information databases regularly

Supports General Needs of Marketing Program and Strategic Plan

  • Assists with implementation of marketing program and strategic plan
  • Plans general marketing activities
  • Coordinates specialized consultants

Supports Public Relations for Firm

  • May represent the firm to clients, peer organizations and business associates
  • Assists with business development opportunities as needed
  • May create graphics or collateral materials, advertising programs, corporate identity pieces, leave-behinds, etc.
  • Assists with events as needed
  • Participates/actively involved in professional and community organizations, including SMPS

Qualifications

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES

Marketing Coordinator Specific

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign
  • Proficient with online marketing resources
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Including Word & Excel
  • Organizational skills, multi-tasking

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • The majority of work is in an office setting, with intermittent sitting, standing, and walking. This position will require limited travel on occasion.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with one to three years of experience recommended, preferably A/E/C experience
  • Without a degree, three years of relevant A/E/C experience required
