We are seeking a strategic and audience-focused Product Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping the narrative for C-level executives, combining product expertise, audience marketing, and sales enablement to influence decision-makers and accelerate growth. The ideal candidate is a storyteller with product depth who can craft narratives, design sales plays, and deliver content that resonates in the boardroom and across executive conversations.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Narrative Development & Storytelling

  • Craft differentiated, business-outcome–driven narratives that align Neo4j’s product strengths with executive priorities such as growth, risk management, and innovation.
  • Translate technical concepts (graph database, analytics, GenAI, vector search) into strategic stories that resonate with CIOs, CTOs, and CDOs.
  • Partner with leadership and subject-matter experts to create keynote presentations, executive briefings, and thought-leadership content.

Audience Marketing & Sales Plays

  • Develop targeted audience marketing strategies and sales plays that guide C-level executives through the buyer journey, from awareness to adoption.
  • Partner with sales leaders and account teams to build and execute repeatable plays for engaging executive buyers across industries.
  • Create tailored messaging and campaign assets that arm sellers with executive-ready narratives for account-based marketing and strategic pursuits.

Product Knowledge & Market Positioning

  • Maintain deep knowledge of Neo4j’s product portfolio and roadmap to ensure narratives are credible, differentiated, and aligned with buyer needs.
  • Conduct win-loss analysis and customer/market research to inform executive messaging and sales play design.
  • Monitor competitor narratives and industry trends to continuously sharpen Neo4j’s executive positioning.

Sales Enablement & Tools

  • Build and deliver sales enablement content designed for executive conversations — including C-level pitch decks, playbooks, talk tracks, objection-handling guides, and ROI calculators.
  • Enable the global salesforce with training and resources to confidently position Neo4j at the executive level.
  • Partner with technical product marketing to develop customer case studies and proof points that demonstrate value and outcomes for C-level buyers.

Content Strategy & Experience

  • Own the executive content editorial calendar, aligning with product launches, strategic campaigns, and go-to-market priorities.
  • Oversee development of executive-ready content for digital channels, web, and high-visibility events.
  • Continuously measure engagement and impact of executive storytelling and sales enablement materials, refining strategies for maximum influence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred. 5+ years in product marketing, business consulting, or go-to-market strategy within the technology/software industry.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise technology, developer products/data platforms, or AI/analytics products, with the ability to connect technical capabilities to executive business outcomes.
  • Proven success shaping narratives, building sales plays, and creating enablement content that resonates with C-level decision-makers and accelerates deal cycles.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data, market insights, and customer feedback into actionable strategies and executive-ready messaging.
