Pangaea Data (Pangaea) is a South San Francisco and London based business founded by Dr Vibhor Gupta and Prof Yike Guo (Director Data Science Institute at Imperial College London; Provost, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology). They have worked in medicine and computing for over 20 years and have raised over $300 million through their academic research, including a $110 million grant focused on development work on large language models in medicine. Pangaea’s AI platform, PALLUX, is configured on clinical guidelines to find more untreated (undiagnosed, miscoded, at-risk) and under-treated patients with hard-to-diagnose conditions for screening and treatment at the point of care. Pangaea’s advisors include industry veterans from healthcare and the life sciences, including Lord David Prior (former chairman, NHS England) and Mr. Andy Palmer (former CIO, Novartis).
The Role
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals and target audiences, focusing on creating engaging and informative scientific and commercial blogs.
- Manage the end-to-end process of content creation (such as for whitepapers, blogs, and printed collaterals), from ideation and research to drafting, editing, and final approval, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Craft compelling conference submissions that showcase the company’s expertise and innovations in the industry, with an emphasis on securing speaking engagements and thought leadership opportunities.
- Create persuasive award applications that highlight the company’s achievements, innovations, and contributions to the industry, effectively positioning the organization for recognition and accolades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to gather information and insights necessary for developing impactful content.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to ensure content remains relevant and positions the company as a leader in the field.
- Track and analyze the performance of content using relevant metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with design and multimedia teams to enhance content with visuals, infographics, and other engaging elements.
- Supporting the team with ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
- University degree (preferably in life sciences)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience writing scientific abstracts, reports and blogs is preferred
- Proactive and detail oriented
- Experience at handling multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Highly organised with ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Nice To Have
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and/or Artificial Intelligence is a big plus
- Experience with design/ Photoshop
- Experience in digital marketing (SEO, GoogleAds, LinkedIn Ads)
- CRM experience (preferably Hubspot)
