As the Senior Manager of Email Marketing at AlerisLife/Five Star Senior Living you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing email marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. You will be responsible for leveraging marketing automation tools and analytics to create personalized and targeted email campaigns that resonate with our audience. Your goal is to optimize the customer journey, increase conversion rates, and ultimately contribute to the overall success of our marketing efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Email Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Campaign Planning: Develop comprehensive email planning calendar to be used cross functionally. Serve as the email expert responsible for email development (via templates), and deployment for all email programs, campaigns, automated workflows (drip campaigns) and newsletters.
- Marketing Automation: Utilize marketing automation platform (Pardot) to create, schedule, and deploy email journeys/campaigns – including nurture journeys, drip journeys, newsletters, promotional / special offer / incentive campaigns, community updates, and more.
- Email Audience Management: Segment CRM (Salesforce – Sales Cloud) lists automatically fed into the Marketing Automation Platform (Pardot or HubSpot) based on community, service line, Salesforce stage, customer behavior, demographics, and preferences to deliver personalized and relevant content. Maintain a clean and well-organized email database, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA).
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling email content, subject lines, and visuals that drive engagement and conversions.
- A/B Testing: Continuously optimize email campaigns through A/B testing of various elements, such as subject lines, CTAs, and email designs.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor email campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and provide regular reports to stakeholders. Use insights to refine strategies and achieve KPIs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to ensure email campaigns align with broader marketing initiatives.
- Compliance: Stay up to date with email marketing best practices and legal regulations, ensuring all email communications are compliant.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- Proven experience 5-7 years in email marketing, marketing automation, and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce – Sales Cloud / Service Cloud).
- Proficiency in using marketing automation platforms such as Pardot or HubSpot.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
- Knowledge of email marketing regulations and best practices.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization techniques.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
