About the role 

As a Manager in Product Research, you will support research across different customer areas to help inform marketing, product, and strategy on customer-centric initiatives. You will use your knowledge of facilitation and stakeholder management to collaborate with partners, facilitate and guide strategy conversations, embed customer-centric approaches into both current and future efforts while conducting both generative and evaluative research efforts. You will use your great strengths in storytelling to share your research point of view in a compelling, convincing manner to the broader team. You will work with partners to determine a shared plan forward to addresses research goals and questions across complex business areas.

As a Manager on the New Propositions team, you represent the core needs of our customers to help our partners understand customer motivations, pain points, and mental models.  These insights will directly inform emerging products and experiences such as GenAI and Extended Reality. You will oversee research and collaborate with partners to inform product strategy and research methodology to inform our omni-channel customer experiences.

You’ll make an impact by: 

  • Crafting a strategic research roadmap that pulls from a broad toolkit of in-person and remote research methods including interviews, un-moderated studies, field studies, participatory design, co-creation, diary studies, surveys, and usability testing. 

  • Guiding research at multiple altitudes of data

  • Using varied approaches including qualitative, quantitative, generative and evaluative research methodologies

  • Solving complex problems with curiosity and openness. 

  • Proactively soliciting and leveraging competitive research, data, and analytics to inform design and business strategy. 

  • Thinking holistically through the entire ecosystem of end users and competitors. 

  • Switching gears from deep design thinking to rapid-fire execution. 

  • Having exceptional communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field; OR 4 years’ experience in business administration, marketing, or related field.

  • 4+ years experience in user research, business marketing, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience in user research.

  • Experience with psychology, sociology, anthropology, cognitive science, design.

  • Experience with artificial intelligence, computer science, or human-computer interaction.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

‎ Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include – Stock
