At BigBear.ai We’re looking for a driven and creative Communications & Marketing Associate to join BigBear.ai’s dynamic team. This role is ideal for a quick learner with polished writing skills, an eye for design, and a passion for impactful storytelling—especially around technology, national security, and AI.

As a close partner to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you’ll provide essential support across day-to-day operations, content development, and campaign execution. You’ll play a key role in overseeing content updates for our website, ensuring alignment with strategic themes and campaigns, and bringing a creative spirit to marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

This is a fully remote opportunity.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Director of Marketing & Communications in executing strategic priorities, campaigns, and content initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our outside Marketing & Communications agency to help drive strategic deliverables in support of brand positioning and visibility.
  • Draft clear, engaging written content including social media posts, case studies, executive quotes, event promotions, internal memos, and web copy.
  • Manage and update website content to reflect priority campaigns, themes, and announcements.
  • Create on-brand graphics for LinkedIn, email, and presentations using tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, events, and product launches.
  • Maintain and manage the content calendar to support consistent storytelling across channels.
  • Monitor social and industry trends to identify opportunities for thought leadership and engagement.
  • Help ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across teams and platforms.

What You Need To Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related roles—preferably in an agency, in-house marketing team, or editorial environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong grasp of tone and clarity.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, X, and social media best practices for B2B audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity and curiosity around marketing topics in technology.
