We’re growing fast (3x year-over-year), our product is sticky, and with a recent $30M Series B raise, we’re just getting started. About The Role
We’re looking for a scrappy social media strategist/content creator who lives and breathes organic social. If you’re obsessed with TikTok/Instagram trends, know how to make a scroll-stopper, and want to apply that to B2B SaaS marketing, this one’s for you.
We’ve recently launched https://x.com/ThumbstopLive which was our love letter to the DTC community, now we want to expand.
What You’ll Do
- Content Creation: Create fresh, authentic, thumb-stopping videos on TikTok and Instagram that appeals to marketers and can bring Motion’s products to life.
- Series Development: Launch recurring content series (think: mini-shows, trend remixes, or behind-the-scenes storytelling) that build our brand presence. (you might be an aspiring Oren John)
- Content Repurposing: Clip, remix, and repackage your content and existing company content (Instagram lives, events, webinars, team sessions) into bite-sized, viral-ready social content. (you can do this or work with a freelancer/agency)
- Trendspotting: Jump on emerging TikTok/IG trends early and adapt them to our brand voice.
- Experimentation: Test new creative formats and bring fresh ideas to the table weekly.
What We’re Looking For
- You’ve already built your own organic audience proving you can do this (~15k+ followers on TikTok OR Instagram with consistent engagement)
- A true Gen-Z creator: you’re fluent in memes, trends, and short-form storytelling.
- Strong video editing and clipping chops (CapCut, Premiere, or whatever else you like).
- Not afraid of applying a creative, human voice to the world of B2B SaaS marketers.
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote, fast-moving startup environment.

- The right person might still be building their own brand and has aspirations of being the next best content creator out there, so we want to be flexible in the type of relationship we build
- We’re open to both, just has to make sense for both parties!
Motion thrived in 2023, and 2024 was a defining year here. We are starting 2025 with fresh funding and exceptional signals from our clients. On top of this, our founding team has built successful companies before. This role offers an incredible opportunity to get in on the ground floor to help us build a category defining company in the “creative-tech” space.
