We’re looking for an experienced retail brand marketing leader who can help us develop and drive retail brand marketing strategies for our Fitness products across multiple retail concepts.

 

We desire a creative, people-first teammate who will obsess consumer insights, understand shopping behaviors (O2O) and journeys in store, and build unbelievable product and innovation stories and experiences to drive demand and impact across the marketplace. This individual will immerse themselves in the fitness performance business and constantly be looking for opportunities to evolve and improve the way we tell our fitness product stories in store, all in an effort to connect with consumers and drive sales.

The ideal candidate loves working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, positive and collaborative team environment. This person will collaborate with a broad group of cross-functional partners to develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market plans and develop communication strategies to influence our consumers at all points in store.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will work closely with the North America Brand Marketing team, Store Merchants and the Visual Merchandizing & Styling team to align on key seasonal and 365 performance fitness product stories for the geo. You will be responsible for understanding both the art and science of marketing; obsessing the performance business, consumer insights and the creative ways we tell our product stories in store. As the performance fitness product and retail expert, you will partner closely with the concept marketing teams to assist in building the wholistic seasonal store brand plan across concepts and ensure that the fitness product is properly represented. You will partner with Global, Geo and City CDM, your Retail Brand counterparts to set, adopt and enrich seasonal Retail Brand strategies that define the vision for product presentation, communication and consumer experience in North America. You will also work closely with the Retail Brand design team to build the vision for how the product storytelling comes to life in store. You will obsess how the in-store digital experience enhances the consumer experience by working closely with the CDM digital counterpart and app experts.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

If this is you, you will report directly into the Retail Brand Director for Running, Fitness & Kids. You will be part of a team that collaborates daily with the Nike Stores Concept teams, Visual Merchandising & Styling, Stores Merchants, Retail Brand Design, Brand Marketing, Digital Brand teams, Global teams and City/Territory teams all with the goal to tell amazing stories and increase awareness and sales in the marketplace.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

  • 5+ years of retail brand experience (building and implementing strategies)
  • Large Fleet, vertical retail experience
  • A strong understanding of the fitness consumer, shopping behaviors, retail journeys and retail trends
  • A passion for product and storytelling!

  • A passion for business and data, and how those inform plans
