Pier Sixty-Six is looking for a qualified, eager, and enthusiastic Marketing & Design Manager to assist with all creative marketing, communication, and design needs for the newly transformed Pier Sixty-Six Resort. The role will report to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities

DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers and move them to action, and develop the overall layout and production design.
  • Create digital communications & print advertisements, email marketing, brochures, collateral/in-room, flyers/sales sheets, presentations, etc.
  • Execute graphics and designs following the brand guidelines provided
  • Assist in producing property photoshoots (still, video, drone, etc.) for F&B outlets, public spaces, neighborhood, façade, etc.
  • Assist with additional photoshoots (e.g., 3 rd party/agency, PR/Editorial/Media, Influencer, etc.)
  • Coordinate pre-pro and shoot schedules with team members, communicate needs, including shot lists, reference sheets, prop/styling lists/sourcing, casting, travel/catering, etc. and post-production needs including retouching, file delivery, formats, etc.
  • Video production and editing (for marketing, website, on-property, social media, etc.)
  • Produce copy as needed for marketing materials
  • Staying abreast of new media formats and learning how to incorporate them into campaigns

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Assist on all marketing and brand projects, including promotions, digital media, programming,
  • partnerships, etc. as needed for resort, marina, residences, etc.
  • Collect, create & manage brand-wide presentations and decks, work cross-departmentally to complete PowerPoint decks for business recaps, owner presentations, and new initiatives, etc.
  • Own special activation post-event reporting and assist in creating monthly marketing reports.
  • Partake in brand and marketing creative, partnerships, and promotion idea brainstorms and
  • Responsible for the maintenance and organization of image/asset library (various sizes, file formats, naming, uploading, archiving, etc.
  • Tracking image usage and contract terms (for commissioned shoots and stock)
  • General administrative needs as assigned (i.e., scheduling, ordering supplies, notetaking, etc.)

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing, PR and/or design
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, Branding or Communications preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Collaborative
  • Critical thinking
  • Sense of urgency—works well in high pressure environments and with strict guidelines
  • Attention to detail, speed & accuracy
  • Adept at proofreading
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in written and verbal form.
  • Creative and open-minded to interesting ideas for initiating new content.
