As a Product Marketing Manager for Banks and Financial Institutions at AvidXchange, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our product portfolio within the Financial segment. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that effectively position our products in the market, generate demand, and accelerate winning new logos. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong collaboration skills and relentless execution.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the ICP (Ideal Customer Profile): Take a data driven approach to targeting our marketing and sales efforts to the right market segment.
  • Go-to-Market: Lead the development of go-to-market plans for new product launches and updates, including messaging and demand generation.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling and informative content, including product collateral, presentations, webinars, and blog posts, to support marketing campaigns and sales efforts.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including our Bank partners, product management, and sales to align on messaging, positioning, and goals.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with the tools, training, and materials they need to effectively sell our products and achieve revenue targets.

What we’re looking for:

  • History of product marketing at banks or financial institutions or an AP Automation focus is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing and/or product management
  • Excellent communicator and storyteller that can explain complex concepts concisely and articulate points of view persuasively.
  • Analytical thinker that backs up points of view with meaningful data and has a high level of experience and skill with data analysis and tools.
  • A self-starter that can analyze, plan, lead, execute, and measure complex projects to deliver successful outcomes with minimal guidance.
  • A team player with a strong ability and appetite for interacting with external and internal stakeholders and that takes pride in helping others succeed.
