An innovative, creative, and passionate senior events marketing manager equipped to spearhead UST’s event marketing strategy, including but not limited to: trade show planning and attendance, securing speaking opportunities, and representing UST at industry events. To maximize pipeline generation and conversions, you will own and manage the day-to-day KPIs, reporting, and target funnel activities. The ideal candidate has a creative mindset, is highly collaborative, and has a successful track record of organizing attendance at trade shows and proving ROI through event marketing strategies and tactics.
You will work with a cross-functional team of leaders to create and execute event strategy. Your work will have a measurable impact on our prospect leads for new customers and partner acquisition strategies. This hands-on role will require you to understand and manage the details of event strategy, planning, and execution, including creating a compelling presence at industry trade shows, vertical trade shows, and owned events.
The Opportunity
- Define a holistic event strategy and annual program budget that aligns with the company’s goals.
- Set the vision for compelling event presence and experiences at industry and vertical trade shows as well as owned events.
- Collaborate with executives and team leaders across the company.
- Create and launch new programs for our events and also expand existing programs.
- Work closely with marketing leaders, global field marketing, marketing operations, and sales operations to develop and track event success goals, ROI, and contribution to the sales pipeline.
What You Need
- At least 7 years’ experience in corporate event strategy, planning, and marketing, with at least 5 years in a B2B environment.
- Experience developing strategic event programs and taking them to market, including annual budget management and planning on behalf of multiple departments.
- Demonstrable understanding of all phases of event marketing and planning, including promotions, traffic drivers, pre-show preparation, on-site logistics, and event outcomes in terms of KPIs and metrics
- Experience with contract negotiations and world-class vendor selection for industry trade shows and events
- Experience planning, developing, and executing a user conference.
- Ability to travel 10-20%
- Experience working in B2B technology is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City, or Washington as set forth below.
Role Location: US, Remote
Compensation Range: $144,000-$172,000
