Project Canary is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our team in Denver, Colorado. You will report to the Director, Product Marketing. This position will be a hybrid role, with 3 days minimum required in the Denver office and 2 days maximum flexible work per week.

 

You will be responsible for creating internal and external materials that drive learning and growth across the Project Canary hardware and software portfolio. This will include working with Aeris technologies, a hardware subsidiary of Project Canary, to be the first Product Marketer representing their needs.

 

This role requires a unique blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and a genuine passion for climate technology. A successful candidate will be creative, attentive to detail, willing eager to learn new technologies, and able to jump in anywhere to help push things forward.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Enablement: Develop and implement strategies to enable our sales team with the tools, content, and knowledge necessary to drive successful engagements with customers. Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand their needs and ensure alignment with marketing initiatives.
  • Technical Acumen and Communication: Demonstrate the ability to translate highly technical concepts into accessible language for sales collateral and educational materials. Create content that effectively educates and informs internal teams and customers.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Craft compelling and differentiated messaging for Project Canary’s suite of hardware and software products. Develop a deep understanding of our technology and effectively communicate its value proposition to diverse audiences, ranging from technical stakeholders to C-level executives.
  • Content Creation: Lead the creation of marketing collateral, including presentations, case studies, whitepapers, and website content. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to translate technical features into customer benefits.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with the broader marketing team to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new products and features. Ensure successful product launches by coordinating activities across marketing channels.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs. Use this knowledge to inform product development and refine marketing strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, customer success, marketing communications, regulatory, and other teams to ensure alignment between product marketing initiatives and overall business goals.
  • Leadership Capabilities: Be the first and primary Product Marketer working with Aeris technologies, a hardware subsidiary of Project Canary. Work directly with their sales team and technical content creators; and serve as liaison to Project Canary Denver.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in a technology or climate-related industry
  • Experience with hardware technology a plus
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a knack for translating technical details into user-friendly content
  • Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to partner with sales and marcom to drive company growth
  • Strong strategic and analytic skills
  • Passion for Project Canary’s mission and solutions
