Munro & Associates

About Munro & Associates

Munro & Associates is a design-focused engineering consulting firm. We help manufacturers rethink what’s possible and turn evidence into value — better products, lower cost, faster cycles, clearer decisions.
Brand DNA: Rethink Possible — make the “impossible” doable with rigorous design and business discipline.
Mission: Empower a better future — one product, one process, one decision, one business at a time.

The Role

We’re seeking a hands-on, self-directed Marketing Manager to elevate our brand, drive demand, and lead all external communications. You’ll be a team of one (for now) who plans and executes — partnering closely with Sales, Munro Live, and leadership. You’ll shape messaging, content, and campaigns that amplify Munro’s voice and convert attention into action.

You’re a builder, storyteller, and strategist who can turn complex technical insights into compelling narratives — ensuring Munro shows up with clarity, consistency, and credibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Own marketing strategy and execution across digital, content, events, and communications.
  • Develop compelling sales presentations—including case studies, introductory materials, and customer-branded decks—while ensuring consistent messaging across all of Munro’s marketing channels.
  • Lead external communications: press releases, media outreach, corporate announcements, public statements.
  • Enable Sales: campaigns, collateral, case studies, presentations, and digital assets.
  • Collaborate with Munro Live to align content, branding, and promotional strategy.
  • Build and maintain brand standards, messaging frameworks, and visual identity.
  • Plan and run targeted campaigns to grow qualified pipeline and brand visibility.
  • Oversee website updates, social channels, newsletters, and overall digital presence.
  • Coordinate thought leadership, speaking opportunities, and media positioning with leadership.
  • Track and report performance (engagement, reach, conversions, traffic, lead flow).
  • Manage external vendors, creatives, or freelancers as needed.
  • Create lightweight templates, toolkits, and repeatable processes for speed and consistency.

What You’ll Champion (Brand Pillars → In Practice)

  • Rethink: Bring creative approaches that challenge industry norms and expand reach.
  • Business-Centric Design: Translate technical depth into clear business value.
  • Exceptional Performance, Tangible Impact: Deliver measurable gains in brand awareness, qualified leads, and credibility.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in marketing, communications, or brand management (B2B, consulting, industrial, or manufacturing a plus).
  • Proven track record owning initiatives end-to-end as an individual contributor.
  • Strong external comms, PR, and brand positioning experience.
  • Ability to turn technical subject matter into accessible, compelling content.
  • Proficiency with CMS, email platforms, social media, CRM, and analytics.
  • History of partnering with Sales on campaigns, messaging, and enablement.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling across formats.
  • Bonus: experience with video/podcast/livestream content brands.
  • Strong project management and planning skills with a bias for execution.

Nice to Have

  • Background in engineering, manufacturing, or technology.
  • Media relations and thought-leadership placement.
  • Familiarity with Munro methods, content, and audience segments.
  • Event/trade show coordination.
  • Graphic design or light creative production skills.

Why Munro

  • Shape the voice of a brand known for innovation, evidence-based design, and industry impact.
  • Work closely with Sales and Munro Live to turn attention into opportunity.

  • Grow fast — your work translates directly into brand equity and business value.
