As the Director of Growth & Strategic Marketing, you will be an integral part of the Nordson EFD leadership team, driving marketing strategies and growth initiatives globally. Based at the division headquarters in East Providence, RI, you will play a key role in developing and executing the strategic plan, aligning with the NBS Next growth framework. Your responsibilities will encompass market analysis, branding, communication, product management, and competitor analysis. Additionally, you will lead the marketing team, fostering an innovative and inclusive culture.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Contribute to the strategic planning process (STRAP), analyzing and prioritizing growth initiatives.
- Drive key business processes, including VOC, market insights, and strategy deployment.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to assess and implement new business opportunities.
- Define and track key strategic performance metrics, addressing any performance gaps.
- Support the M&A process by analyzing potential candidates aligned with strategic goals.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team, attracting, engaging, and retaining talent.
- Establish credibility, rapport, and trust throughout the EFD organization, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Effectively manage timelines, budgets, and organizational reporting and analysis.
Qualifications for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA or graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in strategic marketing, strategic planning, and analysis.
- At least 3 years of experience leading or building high-performing teams.
- Global organizational experience.
- Proven expertise in strategic planning, marketing research, product line management, and brand management.
- Proactive with strong self-direction skills, managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Creativity, vision, and leadership in managing projects, employees, and partnerships.
