Tennant Company is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to assist with the Sales Operations and Marketing department’s activities and product launch efforts.

 

We are looking for someone who has a strong focus on project management, taking responsibility for executing marketing tactics, creating sales tools and coordinating product launches.

 

This role will manage media placements and reporting metrics to support marketing campaigns. This role is highly collaborative and will require working with many departments to plan and execute responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, self-starter who has the desire to get broad experience in Marketing and grow with the company.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide support to sales, marketing, and product management by managing and executing projects, coordinating deadlines, facilitating meetings and communicating updates
  • Use Product Launch Playbook to coordinate and execute launch activities for North America Business Unit
    • Execute internal and external communications
    • Work closely with Product Management and Marketing Operations teams to identify process improvements
    • Participate in product photo and video shoots, including training videos
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Enablement Managers on Demand Generation activities to support key initiatives and vertical targeted campaigns
  • Work with PR agency to manage and track media placements
    • Identify and select media placement opportunities
    • Report media placement results and performance
  • Manage monthly reporting of Marketing Qualified Leads and Sales Qualified Leads for the NABU
  • Manage and execute other marketing tactics as needed
  • Collaborate with the broader sales, product management, training, and marketing operations departments
  • Identify and coordinate creation of sales tools, such as case studies, playbooks, flyers, white papers, videos, and other collateral
  • Attend trade shows and travel with field sales periodically throughout the year
  • Perform other duties as needed

Required Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, major in marketing or communications preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
  • B2B experience preferred
