Tracksmith

Tracksmith is an independent running brand. We honor the Amateur Spirit upon which the sport was founded and champion the Running Class — the non-professional yet competitive runners dedicated to the pursuit of personal excellence. We offer well-considered and authentic products for training, racing, and rest day. In everything we do, we aim to celebrate, support, and add to running’s distinct culture.

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to lead Tracksmith’s owned and earned presence across social platforms. This role sits at the intersection of creative storytelling, community building, and performance — shaping how Tracksmith shows up culturally while helping drive measurable growth for the brand.

What You’ll Do

Lead Social Strategy & Execution

  • Own the social media calendar, including monthly planning, daily publishing, & platform execution across Instagram, Strava, YouTube, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
  • Develop social-first strategies for campaigns, product launches, editorial moments, and community initiatives.
  • Ensure content is published on time and consistently reflects Tracksmith’s voice, values, and brand standards.

Champion Creative & Storytelling

  • Partner closely with the Creative team to curate assets and bring brand stories to life in platform-native, engaging ways.
  • Act as a creative champion for social — exploring new formats, storytelling approaches, and ways to engage the running community.
  • Craft compelling copy for captions and social creative that balances clarity, personality, and brand tone.

Build Community & Creator Partnerships

  • Lead community management and social listening, engaging thoughtfully with followers and serving as the eyes and ears of the brand.
  • Identify, manage, and activate on-brand creators and influencers as an authentic extension of Tracksmith’s storytelling.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure a consistent brand voice in DMs and community interactions.

Drive Performance & Platform Growth

  • Track, analyze, and report on channel performance, with a strong understanding of platform mechanics and analytics.
  • Use insights to grow engagement, audience, and ROI across platforms.
  • Optimize YouTube content using SEO-informed titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails.

Activate Social at Key Running Moments

  • Travel to major running events & moments to execute live, in-the-moment storytelling.
  • Help translate real-world community and race experiences into compelling digital content.

What You Bring

  • 2–4+ years of experience in graphic design, ideally within fashion, sports, or lifestyle brands.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating typography, layout, branding, and visual systems.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
  • Solid understanding of print production and digital formats.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A connection to running, sport, or active culture.

The annual salary for this role is expected to be between $60,000 and $90,000 depending on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and industry knowledge.
