Job Title: Social Media & Marketing Specialist – Hospitality
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and guest-focused Social Media & Marketing Specialist to elevate our brand presence and showcase our hospitality experience across all digital platforms. This role blends branding, content creation, storytelling, and community engagement to attract new guests, strengthen loyalty, and highlight the unique qualities of our property/brand.
Key Responsibilities
Branding & Creative Strategy

- Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity that reflects the property’s voice, guest experience, and service philosophy.
- Create and enforce visual and messaging guidelines across all marketing materials and digital channels.
- Collaborate with leadership, F&B teams, and design partners to produce brand-aligned photography, videos, and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct competitive research within the hospitality and travel industry to identify trends and branding opportunities.
Social Media Management

- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Highlight property features, guest experiences, dining options, amenities, events, and seasonal offerings through compelling storytelling
- Manage community engagement by responding to comments, direct messages, guest reviews, and tagged posts in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
- Partner with travel influencers, tourism boards, and hospitality creators to grow brand visibility.
Marketing Campaigns & Content Development

- Support digital and on-property marketing initiatives, including promotions, event marketing, package launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Write and edit copy for social media, website pages, blogs, newsletters, menus, and guest communications.
- Coordinate photo and video shoots to ensure high-quality content that reflects the hospitality experience.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and hotel CRM communications to drive bookings and guest engagement.
- Assist with continuity in signage and messaging across resort.
Analytics & Reporting

- Track social media performance, website traffic, and campaign metrics to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations for content optimization and brand enhancement.
- Monitor guest sentiment and online reputation across platforms such as Google, TripAdvisor, and Yelp, providing feedback to relevant departments.
Qualifications

- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
- 1 to 3+ years of social media or marketing experience, ideally in hospitality, travel, or F&B.
- Strong understanding of branding, content strategy, and digital marketing trends.
- Excellent storytelling, writing, and visual communication skills.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media scheduling tools.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with various departments, and capture real-time content in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Preferred Skills

- Experience promoting hotels, restaurants, resorts, event venues, or travel destinations.
- Knowledge of hospitality platforms, review management systems, and CRM tools.
- Basic photography/videography and content editing skills.
- Understanding of paid social and SEO for hospitality.
