ShipIn Systems

ShipIn Systems is the world’s first FleetVision Platform, unlocking ship-to-shore collaboration for global maritime fleets with AI-powered maritime CCTV and visual analytics. Our platform proactively alerts shipowners, managers, and seafarers to onboard events in real time, enhancing safety, security, and operational efficiency across fleets worldwide.

About the role

We are scaling our go-to-market motion and have strong leadership, a differentiated product, and meaningful traction through events, digital, partnerships, and direct sales. What we need next is a highly execution-oriented Go-to-Market Manager who can take ownership of how interest becomes pipeline, pipeline becomes customers, and customers become embedded.

This role is for someone who wants to build, run, and iterate the GTM system.

You will work directly with the VP of Marketing, Sales, Events & Community, Product, RevOps, and Customer Success to operationalize sales plays, buyer journeys, lifecycle programs, and market-facing content.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Plays & GTM Execution

  • Build and execute sales plays by persona, use case, and buying stage.
  • Create the actual assets sales uses: decks, one-pagers, talk tracks, follow-up templates, and enablement guides.
  • Partner with Sales to test plays in live deals and refine them based on honest feedback.
  • Map enterprise buying committees and decision dynamics across target accounts.

Buyer Journey & Lifecycle Programs

  • Design and implement the end-to-end buyer journey, i.e., first touch through pilot, onboarding, and expansion.
  • Build lifecycle programs including post-event follow-up, nurture sequences, pilot support, and expansion campaigns.
  • Work hands-on in CRM and marketing automation tools to launch and maintain programs (HubSpot experience a plus).
  • Identify friction points and continuously improve conversion and deal velocity.

Product Marketing in Practice

  • Translate product capabilities into clear, buyer-ready messaging used across sales, events, and campaigns.
  • Maintain consistent positioning as the product evolves.
  • Support launches, pilots, partnerships, and industry initiatives with hands-on execution.

Content & Social Execution

  • Create and ship content that supports the buyer journey, including:
  • Blog posts and long-form content
  • Sales collateral and case studies
  • Product narratives and POV pieces
  • Social media / community-focused content
  • Potentially curate founder-led content
  • Execute social content (primarily LinkedIn) that reinforces ShipIn’s point of view and supports GTM initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership and events to turn insights into publishable, reusable content.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in product marketing, GTM, demand, or revenue-adjacent marketing roles.
  • Proven ability to execute end-to-end GTM programs.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise and complex B2B buying motions.
  • Comfortable writing, building, launching, and owning outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred).
  • Organized, analytical, and comfortable operating in fast-moving environments.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, industrial technology, or regulated industries is a plus.
  • Maritime experience is great but not required – curiosity and rigor matter more.

What We Offer

  • Eligible to participate in ShipIn’s bonus and equity plan.
  • Direct ownership of ShipIn’s go-to-market execution.
  • A collaborative Boston-based team with hybrid flexibility – in office M,T,W
  • Clear opportunity to grow into a senior GTM or marketing leadership role.
  • The chance to help shape how a global industry adopts modern technology.
  • And yes, a chance to become a ship captain (seriously).
