CORE Construction is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead our marketing team for our Texas division. This role will report to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and will work directly with Texas leadership and the Texas Business Development team to promote our brand, communicate our mission, capabilities, and strengths to clients, and to continuously find new ways to serve our clients.
The primary function of this position is to implement strategic pursuits and lead the Marketing Team in the creation and production of editorial-quality proposals, presentations, and deliverables, and top-notch events. This role requires a candidate with exceptional leadership, organizational, verbal, graphical, and written communication skills, along with the ability to multitask, as well as oversee the many tasks of the team, often while working under tight deadlines. This person demonstrates servant leadership, enjoys being busy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This will work at the CORE office in Frisco, TX.
Responsibilities Include
- Produce and oversee high-level proposals, presentations, and deliverables.
- Plan, organize, and execute project and client events.
- Work closely with Business Development and Leadership to support and develop successful strategies that attract new clients and keep current clients.
- Ensure all National Marketing standards are implemented within all deliverables and local office(s).
- Stay ahead of competitors in our deliverables, merchandise, and presentation standards by always looking for ways to differentiate ourselves and embrace opportunities to improve.
- Collaborate regularly with National Marketing and to share ideas and information.
- Oversee the maintenance of marketing databases including project reference sheets, staff resumes, abstracts, collateral, and project photography for the Texas region.
- Act as a servant leader to support and facilitate the growth of Marketing support staff.
- Act as point person for all marketing needs, information requests, and initiatives for this region.
- Actively participate, attend, and facilitate Leadership and Marketing meetings.
- This is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the employee is not eligible for overtime compensation.
Candidate Qualifications
- Professional degree in creative, communications, business, or related field is preferred, but not required
- 5+ years experience in the AEC industry, required
- High-energy, maturity, and experienced in managing people
- Expert experience with RFP and RFQ responses
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Passionate about creating high-quality deliverables and has a passion for marketing
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Creative thinker / problem solver
- Works well under pressure and with multiple deadlines
- Reliable and timely with strong organizational skills
- Must reside in the greater DFW area, or be willing to relocate to the area
