Big-D Construction is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to assist in developing and executing communication plans that enhance brand reputation, public image, and employee engagement. This role supports corporate marketing and communications across the Big-D family of companies.
The position is responsible for managing marketing requests, coordinating design work, and creating content that highlights people, projects, and expertise. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are organized, executed efficiently, and delivered to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role combining content creation, project coordination, and creative execution, ideal for someone who enjoys both writing and organizing.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate marketing requests and manage project flow from kickoff to completion
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal marketing needs and develop creative briefs
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to produce marketing materials
- Support design and production of presentations, brochures, signage, and campaign assets
- Review deliverables, manage revisions, and maintain brand consistency
- Perform quick updates to materials using tools like InDesign, Illustrator, or Adobe Express
- Write press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and internal communications
- Interview team members to develop stories highlighting projects and expertise
- Support PR initiatives including media outreach and coverage tracking
- Assist in planning and executing company events and marketing initiatives
- Coordinate branded materials and manage marketing assets with vendors
About the Role:
This role blends content development, design coordination, and project management. You will contribute to communication efforts while ensuring marketing projects run smoothly and meet quality standards.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or similar role
