$92,000.00 – $120,000.00

What’s the role?

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support operational excellence for 2 functions within the Marketing Org at Etsy – (1) Product & Retention Marketing and (2) Brand Marketing. You will support critical business and organizational operations, enabling teams to operate efficiently to achieve their strategic goals. The position offers regular exposure to CMO leadership, providing broad awareness of strategy and execution across the full marketing portfolio and a unique opportunity to learn how marketing operates end to end at scale. As such, this role is well positioned for future growth within the Marketing organization over time. Ideally you are someone who loves to learn, enthusiastic about marketing, and thrives in a fast-paced environment! You are familiar with marketing functions, highly motivated, analytical with strong operational judgement and efficiency, a strategic perspective, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

This is a full-time position reporting to the VP of Product & Retention Marketing. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.

This role requires your presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn Office once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. The Marketing Coordinator keeps the Product & Retention Marketing and Brand Marketing teams running smoothly and connected. The role focuses on coordination, communication, and operational clarity to help leaders and teams stay aligned. Over time, the Coordinator grows into a trusted operational partner, shaping how the organization collaborates and delivers alongside Marketing leadership and cross-functional peers.

What does the day-to-day look like?

  • Operating rhythms and process coordination: Design, coordinate, and maintain processes, tools, and operating rhythms for the Product & Retention Marketing and Brand Marketing teams, including cross-functional workflows, to ensure alignment, clarity, and effective collaboration across teams. Ensure stakeholders have a clear understanding of what’s happening, what’s expected, and when.
  • Planning and reporting: Support the teams in company-wide processes (e.g., SFP planning, goal-setting, CEO and org-wide reviews) by coordinating participation, managing content and required inputs, and tracking key deadlines for all cross-company deliverables.
  • Strategic operational support: Prepare leaders for meetings and events with materials, agendas, and logistics. Partner with other Coordinators, Program Managers, and Executive Assistants across Etsy to coordinate efforts and keep work on track.
  • Represent Marketing leaders with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in internal and external interactions. Serve as a trusted coordination partner, anticipating needs and helping the org stay aligned.
  • Build trust and connections across all layers of the teams, developing situational awareness of cross-group dependencies. Proactively flag challenges, opportunities, and other relevant updates to Marketing leadership.
  • Track L&D activities, expense reports, budget elements, and other operational enablers that keep the teams functioning smoothly.
  • Program management: Own high-impact special projects and critical initiatives across the organization as needed, driving cross-functional alignment and delivering results against key business goals
  • Communications and event operations: Draft, coordinate, and manage internal communications (e.g., org updates, all-hands content, presentations) while maintaining clear, transparent communication channels between Marketing leads and their teams.
  • Keep distribution lists, Slack channels, and other communication pathways accurate and up to date—reflecting new hires, exits, and org adjustments.
  • Plan and implement team events, offsites, and department-wide gatherings in partnership with Marketing leaders and key partners.
  • Administrative support for VPs: Manage the VP of Product & Retention Marketing and VP of Brand Marketing’ calendars, travel, and other scheduling assignments, as needed. Schedule, attend, and note-take at Marketing Leadership meetings as a thought-partner. This includes taking notes, scheduling follow ups, and being the “eyes and ears” for the Marketing Leadership.

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:

  • 1-3 years of demonstrated experience designing, managing, and refining operating rhythms, processes, and cross-team workflows.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder projects and keep teams aligned on timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Ability to define, organize and operationalize a plan to tackle nebulous challenges.
