About The Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven SEO professional to lead our digital visibility efforts. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive search engine optimization strategies aimed at increasing organic rankings, driving website traffic, and enhancing user experience across our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical prowess and creative thinking, working collaboratively with content, technical, and creative teams to implement SEO best practices. Your responsibilities will include keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO improvements, and performance analysis, all aimed at maintaining our website’s competitiveness and visibility. This position offers flexibility with on-site or remote work options and reports directly to the marketing leadership team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, communications, or a related field
- 2-4 years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar digital marketing role
- Experience within the outdoor recreation, hunting, or sport-shooting industry is preferred
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website management tools
- Strong knowledge of keyword research, content optimization, and backlink strategies
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
- Critical thinking skills to evaluate solutions and improve processes

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance organic search rankings and website visibility
- Conduct extensive keyword research to identify opportunities for content development and on-page optimization
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images to ensure alignment with SEO best practices
- Collaborate with content teams to create engaging, SEO-optimized content that attracts high-quality traffic
- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve SEO-related issues such as site speed, mobile responsiveness, crawlability, and indexing
- Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO platforms to monitor and analyze performance metrics
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings
- Regularly conduct SEO audits to identify and address areas for improvement
- Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge
- Monitor competitor strategies and provide insights to inform ongoing SEO efforts
