Product Marketing Manager

Are you a technical product marketing visionary who can also roll up your sleeves and get things done? We’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing who excels in product marketing strategy, planning, and execution. In this role, you will be responsible for launching high-impact go-to-market programs for developers and business buyers, from the first touch to onboarding, while leveraging your expertise and past successes to lead PubNub’s product marketing initiative.

 

The successful candidate is an expert in all things related to product marketing and the use of data to measure and improve program results. This role requires close collaboration with revenue marketing, product, developer experience, sales, and other cross-functional partners across the company.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Product Management to understand PubNub’s product strategy and develop persuasive customer narratives and compelling content.
  • Define, manage, and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and existing product initiatives, including buyer personas and audience profiles, product positioning and messaging, competitive research, value proposition and key differentiators, and launch strategy. 
  • With a clear understanding of our developer and business buyer targets, develop brand narratives that resonate and buyer journeys that convert both audiences, highlighting the features and benefits that are most relevant to each.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Marketing, Growth, and other teams to ensure product positioning and messaging alignment across all internal and external channels with supporting content and assets.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Enablement for practical sales training and internal education.
  • Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape to inform PubNub’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Craft content and collateral to convey the value of our products.
  • Employ a data-driven approach that focuses on the most impactful outcomes and specific KPIs. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of B2B technical product marketing experience

  • Skilled at using data and testing to build and optimize marketing campaigns that solve business problems
  • Highly effective at leading cross-functional initiatives
