Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$66,500 – $70,000

Job Summary

As an Associate, Customer Engagement Marketing at Purple Mattress Company, you will be responsible for managing email and SMS campaigns, creating engaging newsletter content, and maintaining vendor relationships to optimize platform performance. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication with our customers and driving business growth through strategic email and text messaging initiatives.


Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Email / SMS Campaign Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end process of email and SMS campaigns, including briefing, coordination of deployment, and quality assurance.
  • Create detailed briefs for each campaign, coordinating with the creative team and stakeholders to develop assets.
  • Partner with Cordial (ESP) to build audience criteria, ensuring targeted and personalized communications.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to verify accuracy and functionality of emails and text messages.
  • Coordinate deployment with Cordial (ESP) to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Newsletter Content Creation:

  • Develop highly engaging newsletter email content that resonates with our audience.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional SEO team to gather insights on top-performing blog articles and ensure content relevancy.
  • Craft compelling messaging and incorporate relevant product promotions or announcements to drive customer engagement.

Vendor Relations:

  • Manage relationships with vendors such as Narvar (Delivery Tracker vendor) and Talkable (Refer a Friend vendor) to optimize platform performance.
  • Collaborate with vendors to implement best practices and ensure compliance with current business initiatives.
  • Communicate feedback and recommendations to vendors to enhance the effectiveness of their platforms.

ESP & Vendor Data Monitoring:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and data feeds within Cordial (ESP) and vendor platforms (Narvar & Talkable).
  • Identify inconsistencies or issues within data feeds and take proactive measures to address them.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve data feed issues promptly.
  • Provide detailed information and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills, Education, Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of related experience required
  • Proven experience in email marketing, SMS marketing, or digital marketing roles, preferably in an ecommerce or retail environment.
  • Proficiency in email service providers (ESPs) such as Cordial, Mailchimp, or Klaviyo.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
