The Marketing Coordinator is a team member responsible for assisting the Marketing Department in the development and execution of brand strategies to drive growth and profitability. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels and requires a combination of creative, analytical, and digital marketing skills to effectively support the marketing team and generate messaging that adheres to our brand message, objective of growth and industry leadership and contributes to the overall success of the company.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Support in coordinating marketing events, such as trade shows and promotional events, as assigned.
  • Support in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as press releases, email campaigns, and digital content.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and business development, to align marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of assigned marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Manage social media accounts with eye on engagement, brand awareness and social growth.
  • Work with external vendors and agencies, as required, to produce marketing materials and manage campaigns.
  • Support team  with brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Support team with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, processing invoices and master calendar creation.
  • Support team with SEO strategies, website optimization.
  • Support with the development of earned/paid advertisement and PR opportunities valuable for brand engagement.
  • Manage a catalog of all marketing assets (photos, videos, client testimonials, etc.) and work to consistently keep assets streamlined and up to date.
  • Manage all Convention Visitors Bureaus (CVB) listings companywide to ensure timely and consistent updates as needed.
  • Support team with incoming graphic design requests and create personalized or one-off designs as assigned.
  • Support team in management of Canva templates and refresh quarterly creating templates and standard designs as assigned.
  • Support team with industry award submissions including content development, submission and tracking.
  • Develop blogs, case studies and other digital content as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ marketing experience preferred, but not required
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of events experience preferred, but not required

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Demonstrated capability to meet or exceed goals
  • A high level of personal ethics and trustworthiness
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The position requires the Marketing Coordinator be available on an as needed basis which may include nights and weekends depending on time of year, etc.
  • Strong creative mindset including demonstrated strength in creative writing, editing (video preferred) with ability/interest in developing additional creative interests and skills as required
  • Some travel required
