We seek an enthusiastic Marketing Manager to join our growing team to ensure that all creative and marketing projects get the attention they need for success. In this role, you will report to the COO, lead and manage our brand/position, and partner closely with other leaders to develop and execute marketing strategies supporting our business growth goals. You will serve as the marketing leader, provide thought leadership to the team, coordinate efforts against the annual tactical plan, nurture and grow the internal marketing staff, and manage our agency partner relationships.

 

This role is ideal for someone who views experiences holistically through a customer-centric lens, is data-driven and digitally savvy, loves balancing multiple stakeholders and initiatives, and can switch quickly from strategic thinking to tactical execution to drive exceptional business results.

 

Your Impact (Responsibilities):

  • Serve as a key member of the Management Team, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for all marketing disciplines – lead generation, lead nurturing, channel performance, sales support, positioning, branding, messaging, creative, and related areas.
  • Lead and manage internal marketing staff, contractors, and agency partners.
  • Own responsibility for the MarketSmart brand – across channels, online and offline.
  • Define and develop marketing initiatives and calendars/roadmaps to support annual marketing plans and lead execution with internal and external partners.
  • Own accountability for marketing channel optimization, and collaborate on marketing spend, KPIs, ROI, and adjustments.

What You’ll Bring (Skills and Qualifications):

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing and communications; minimum of one year managing people
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing mix and omnichannel integration
  • Strong understanding of performance analytics to drive optimizations and opportunities
  • Experience in marketing automation and measurement, specifically in lead nurturing and measuring the impact of marketing channels and attribution reporting; HubSpot experience a plus
  • Experience in Non-Profit, SaaS, and Consulting preferred
  • Flexible, creative thinker open to new ideas and shifting priorities within a fast-paced organization
