General Summary

 

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that resonate with the target audience, driving both brand awareness and sales. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of marketing initiatives with the overall business objectives.

 

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, with a focus on driving brand awareness and sales to retail and food service channels.
  • Develop brand positioning, messaging, presentations, and creative campaigns to ensure Izzio’s brand is accurately reflected.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates the efforts of internal and external resources in brand management, customer marketing and Marketing Excellence to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Partner with the Sales team to develop marketing campaigns to increase Izzio’s visibility and conversion.
  • Collaborate across sales, R&D, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and cohesion across marketing efforts.
  • Develop and oversee digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, social media strategy, content marketing, and online advertising.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics and insights, identify market trends, opportunities, and threats to develop strategy and campaign initiatives to optimize performance.
  • Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize marketing spend to maximize ROI.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and continuously optimize the strategies.
  • Grow the marketing function within the organization.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a director/senior leadership position. Must have experience in food/consumer goods manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of building marketing strategies in the food or consumer goods industry.
  • A deep understanding of the bread, food or consumer goods landscape, market trends, and the ability to leverage data for decision-making is essential.
  • The role demands a creative and strategic thinker who can build, lead, and inspire a team, as well as collaborate with external partners to achieve marketing goals.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to include Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to prioritize workload in a multitasking environment, short-term tactical along with longer term strategic activities.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and have the ability to interact positively and motivate others.
  • Exceptional communication skills; promoting teamwork and a positive work environment. Strong ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from the production floor to the executive office; strong interpersonal, leadership, & organizational skills.
  • Maintain regular, consistent attendance & punctuality. Must have a flexible schedule that may require occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.

Location: On-site – Louisville CO or remote/hybrid

 

Compensation is based on level of experience, other relevant experience, and requirements of the position. The range provided serves only as a guideline and does not automatically qualify all candidates (internal or external) for the high end of the range.

 

Salary: $130,000.00 to $170,000.00
