Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Retention Marketing, Marketing Specialist will manage email campaigns and mobile messages that use best practices to improve of the program. The Specialist will build with by using impactful marketing planning and collaboration with e-commerce and creative partners while ensuring email and mobile marketing production schedules remain on target.

Your Impact

  • Be the project manager for hundreds of email campaigns as assigned by Sr. Manager from concept to deployment to performance analysis.
  • Determine production schedule, assign important dates and direct a team of creative designers, copywriters, HTML developers and Web QA analysts with intent and focus of each campaign.
  • Merchandises and secures relevant, successful product for all campaigns by working with e-commerce partners and using Google Analytics and Tableau, and historic email results/data.
  • Responsible for all product information (including keying pricing and special offer information) and imagery. Partner with eCommerce to determine important sales points, ensure agreement to event/programming messaging and ensure images are available in accordance to email timeline.
  • Create detailed creative briefs and independently direct copy, design and HTML teams with main focus of each campaign.
  • Routes all campaigns for necessary departmental review (including e-commerce final approval) vendor (where applicable) and legal approvals.
  • Set up and execution for weekly mobile messages.
  • Establish ongoing communication with ecommerce partners to understand strategy and email offer.
  • Review email campaign results as provided by Salesforce, Google Analytics and Tableau.
  • Use insights in daily decision-making for campaigns and to obtain high-level understanding across all email and mobile programs.
  • Create event recaps to provide to brand and e-commerce partners.
  • Partner with the Campaign Management team to obtain the appropriate customer list to launch by email system (Salesforce). Monitor to confirm 100% completion.
  • Review test versions of campaigns before launch.

What You Bring

  • You have a BA in marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent experience required.
  • You have 2-4 years professional experience, within digital or email marketing, or e-commerce.
  • You are comfortable coming into the office 3-5 days per month.
