Centreville Bank
Under general supervision, the role of Marketing Specialist will focus on supporting the development and execution of the Bank’s Marketing strategy. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholder to ensure marketing tasks and deliverables are completed in alignment with project plans and schedules. They will be responsible for creating accurate, compelling and compliant marketing materials that help convey the Bank’s brand, products and services to internal and external audiences. They will assist/support marketing departmental duties as needed.
Key Accountabilities:
Marketing Specialist
- Completes tasks related to area(s) of specialization in accordance with Marketing and Bank policies.
- Conducts market research and competitive intelligence to identify areas of opportunity. Stays up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies.
- Regularly reviews, measures and analyzes key performance indicators.
- Makes recommendations and supports the execution of marketing tactics/initiatives, ensuring they reach target audience(s) through appropriate channels.
- Brainstorms and develops ideas Marketing enhancements. Provides input into marketing campaigns and process improvements.
- Responds to marketing inquires/requests from stakeholders and management as assigned.
- Collaborates with team members, vendor partners and internal stakeholders.
- Provides proactive updates and communications to management and project teams.
Senior Marketing Specialist
- In addition to the Specialist duties above:
- Fulfill all duties above with limited supervision.
- Ability to oversee marketing tasks and processes independently.
- Serves as the subject matter expert as it relates to area(s) of specialization.
Marketing Functional Requirements (Social Media/Creative Content Development)
- Oversee all Centreville Bank social media accounts. Develop content and social media positing schedule.
- Review and optimize social media processes.
- Use data to identify opportunities to build audiences and customer engagement via social/content channels.
- Collaborate with internal and external business stakeholder to optimize content, reach and engagement.
- Attend bank events to capture, develop and post content (photography, videography, etc.).
- Monitor and respond to social media feedback/complaints. Ensure appropriate procedures are followed for documenting customer complaints received via digital channels.
- Update and manage bank listings.
- Support the update and development of creative content templates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in marketing
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills. Deadline driven.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented
- Creative thinker
Senior Marketing Specialist qualifications:
- 5-8 years of progressive marketing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on Marketing tasks/projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in banking/financial services or other highly-regulated industry
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
