The Senior Product Marketing Manager will lead SaaS product marketing initiatives for Provation® Apex, our intelligent procedure documentation platform. This role collaborates with marketing, product management, and sales to strategize and direct the commercialization of Apex. Key responsibilities include managing marketing activities such as value proposition development, ROI analysis, go-to-market planning, market research, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and business planning. The focus is on defining target markets, developing customer-centric product positioning and messaging, and identifying revenue growth opportunities to enhance Provation’s market presence.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Strategy:
    • Develop and execute innovative GTM strategies and launch plans for new products/features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams for product launches using market research and competitive analysis.
    • Recommend and lead marketing strategies to establish a competitive market position.
  • Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning, and Messaging:
    • Build strategic plans using industry and competitive analysis to define customer segments, target markets, and ROI development.
    • Craft compelling product messaging and positioning that differentiates our products and resonates with target audiences.
    • Translate product enhancements into demand-driving messaging and programs.
  • Product-Market Fit Expertise:
    • Work with Product Management to articulate clear value propositions for product positioning.
  • Packaging and Pricing:
    • Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Sales Enablement to propose effective packaging and pricing for new product/features.
  • Sales Enablement:
    • Equip the sales team with tools, resources, and training, including sales presentations, product demos, fact sheets, customer success stories, messaging, and competitive battle cards.
  • Content Creation:
    • Assist outbound marketing team in creating high-quality marketing materials such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and videos to support GTM strategy in collaboration with the digital marketing team.
    • Assist other marketing teams with content for lead generation and brand awareness campaigns across the product portfolio.
  • Marketing Analysis:
    • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and execute competitive initiatives with input from market intelligence.
    • Influence the product roadmap to develop competitive differentiators and build points of parity.
    • Act as the market expert for relevant product segments, leveraging primary and secondary market research.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Lead and support strategic projects and initiatives to help the business meet its goals.
    • Foster strong working relationships with Sales, Product Management, and Client Services through effective communication and follow-through.
  • Channel and Partner Programs:
    • Manage channel and partner programs as needed.
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, and/or Management Consulting with SaaS companies in B2B technology and/or Healthcare IT
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for technology or SaaS products
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to marketing strategy and execution
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Job Requirements
